A majority of Chinese schools are hiring native English speakers who did not have years of experience and qualification permissions. Many lucky people don’t even need to submit their CV’s to get a high profile job. The private education industry has been growing at 15% rate annually; public language institutions are trying their best to hire professional English speakers for school students.
The rapid growth of Teaching in China is developing classrooms run by young foreigners who are academically qualified to teach. This means that there are many opportunities that are being generated to get a job as an English teacher. Their standards are not as high as those in Taiwan that require each teacher to be a native English speaker, or like those in South Korea where the entry of foreigners who are aiming to become teachers is being restricted.
